We would like to extend a sincere welcome to all the players, coaches and families who traveled to Iroquois Falls to take part in the 2017 Northland Power Classic Novice House Tournament hosted by Iroquois Falls Minor Hockey Association.
Weekend Passes are $10 and day passes are $6 each. 12 and under are free.
Tournament Headquarters is located in the Multi Purpose Room. To access the room please follow the ramp located in the North East corner of the arena on the upper concourse. A member of the Tournament Committee will be available there throughout the duration of the Tournament. Scores and standings will be posted in various locations including Tournament Headquarters and the arena's South Entrance.
In an effort to make the weekend as enjoyable as possible, we have arranged a few activities to keep the kids occupied (and the parents sane) between games. Our Community Hall (accessible from the arena) will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday and there will be movies, colouring, toys, etc for the kids as well as tables and chairs for the parents to relax. The Pool has also offered to provide free swim coupons to all players (Fri.6-7 or 7-8, Sat.1-2:30 or 2:30-3:30) so make sure to pack your swim suits (must be accompanied by an adult) and the Earl Porter Lanes (just steps away from the arena) has also offered 2for1 bowling (Fri.1-4 or 6-8 and Sat.3-5) for all participants.
IFMHA has also provided each team member with a free lunch coupon which can be redeemed for a lunch Saturday at the arena Cafeteria. The Cafeteria will be open throughout the tournament as well with several options available including $5 kids lunches.
Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 all participants are also invited to join us for free public skating.

Congratulations to the Smooth Rock Falls Lightning on winning the Northland Power Classic Championship, finalists Kirkland Lake Volunteer Fire Brigade, consolation game winners Timmins Sling Choker North Stars and all teams and players for bringing their best this weekend!
