NRMHA PRESIDENT’S WELCOME

With great pleasure, I would like to welcome all players, coaches, managers, parents, spectators, and officials to our 15th Annual Sweetheart Tournament. As President of the North River Minor Hockey Association, I am very proud to be part of hosting this hockey tournament. On behalf of our board of directors, I am excited to welcome so many female teams to compete in a weekend of competitive and action-packed hockey. It makes our association very proud of the work of our volunteers over the past 14 years in building Atlantic Canada’s "Premier Female Hockey Event." This event also allows our association to showcase female hockey at all levels and to promote the female game within our community, association and province. This tournament will see teams from all over the Maritimes coming together to compete and make new friends while participating in this wonderful game.

It takes an enormous amount of volunteer effort to host such a high quality tournament. The efforts of our Sweetheart Committee are greatly appreciated by all members of our association. I wish all participants, families and spectators an enjoyable tournament and good luck in all of your games over the weekend. We truly appreciate all teams including the Sweetheart Tournament as part of your hockey season. We look forward to hosting you for our 15th Annual Tournament in February 2023.
