I would like to extend a sincere welcome to all of the players, coaching staff, and families to our tournament. We have spent a lot of time planning for this weekend, and hope that we will host an event you will enjoy and remember for years to come.

Although this is an annual event, this is the first year we have hosted our friendship tournament in January. Due to the amazing community support we’ve got an assortment of stellar prizes on the twoonie table, a brand new stick waiting to be won weighted down with loonies and if this isn’t enough, once an hour we will be running a 50/50 draw.

We know January can be a cold month, so in order to help with those early morning games we’ll serving a pancake breakfast with hot Tim Hortons coffee. This will take place in the upstairs hall from 8am -12pm.

Tournament registrations will take place on Friday January 17th at the T.M. Davies Arena lobby. We invite all teams to register a minimum of 1 hour prior to game time.

Game sheets will be provided prior to each game in the arena lobby. Please apply your game sheet labels at that time or hand write in your player’s roster (including all affiliate players).

A member of the tournament committee will always be available in the arena lobby. Should you need to contact a Tournament official the phone number for the Tournament Executive member is Bill Clarke 705-690-0666. We will also be requesting an emergency contact number that will be available for this weekend for each team.

Scores and standings will be posted outside of the home dressing rooms as well as at the registration desk. Results will also be available on the website: http://www.goaltop.com/sites/t/wmhafriendship.

A copy of our tournament rules will be included in your welcome package. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to render final decisions regarding rule protest and objections, and any other matter that may arise.
